Returning as part of Gatlinburg’s holiday festivities, this family-friendly event transforms the Little Pigeon River into a fun and competitive racecourse for hundreds of unmanned floatables.
Participants and spectators alike are invited to enjoy the excitement as rubber ducks and creative floating entries race downstream through the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. Whether you’re competing for a trophy or simply cheering from the riverbank, the River Raft Regatta offers a unique and memorable way to celebrate Independence Day.

How to Participate
Enter the race by renting a rubber duck or bringing your own floatable creation.
- $2 for one duck entry
- $5 for three duck entries
- Personal float entries are welcome at no additional cost
All proceeds from the event benefit the Gatlinburg Chamber Foundation, helping support community initiatives throughout the area.
