Up-to-Date Retail Businesses Reopening

As of May 28th, 2021: Businesses in the Great Smoky Mountain region are open. The mask mandate has been lifted, though face masks may be required at specific retailers. Each business can set their own regulations. We recommend contacting the business directly for any questions regarding safety measures and updates.

In order to keep all visitors safe, retail stores that are open will be in compliance with the CDC guidelines issued. Most are operating now without masks, or with masks only required for those who are not vaccinated. In most cases, you won’t need a mask to shop in the Smoky Mountain area – but bring one just in case!

Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, collectables or even just a great sale, you’re sure to find it all here in the Smoky Mountains! See below for the Tennessee Pledge Guidelines to give you peace of mind in the reopening process.
