Just a short drive from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster offers a very unique experience. Imagine a personal roller coaster, on the side of a mountain…that you have control over?! You can get up close and personal with the wildlife and mountainous terrain. Talk about a great opportunity to use that GoPro camera you got for Christmas!
Air Tours
If you want a birds eye view of Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains, there are 2 great ways to do it. You can take a helicopter tour of the area with Scenic Helicopter Tours or, you can head up with Sky High Air Tours in a world war II biplane, which is an open cockpit ride through the area. Both the helicopter and biplane offer incredible experiences. If you want pictures unlike anything you’ve taken before, you need to plan a trip to take scenic tour of Pigeon Forge. You can enjoy the thrill of skydiving…indoors. You’ll have the experience of a fall free fall in a 21 foot vertical wind tunnel with over 120 mph winds! Flyaway Indoor Skydiving creates a skydiving simulation including the flight suit, earplugs, gloves, helmet and goggles. You’ll have a brief training session and equipment prep. There are a few weight and height requirements by almost anyone of any age can experience the feeling of skydiving.
Outdoor Gravity Park
Home to the OGO, an 11 foot transparent sphere, is the perfect outdoor adventure for the whole family. There are several options to choose from, including the H2OGO, which fits 3 riders and 10 gallons of water. There’s also the harnessed OGO, which allows 2 riders, strapped in before rolling down the 1,000 foot hill. They also have the popular Fishpipe barrel, which is the world’s first rotating barrel ride and carries 3 people, 20 gallons of water and spins up to 45 revolutions per minute.
