Publix Officially Opens in Pigeon Forge

The day has finally come, Publix is officially open in Pigeon Forge! The new store opened its doors today at the Valley Forge Shopping Center, 2656 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TNwith a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Pigeon Forge city Mayor, David Wear.

“It’s a beautiful day in Pigeon Forge, not only because of that sunrise right there, but because we’re cutting a ribbon on a new store that’s going to employ our people and be a community partner. You can’t ask for more than that.”

Today’s ribbon cutting comes off the heels of Publix’s VIP event yesterday, where it donated two large checks (pun intended) to the Forever Parks Foundation and Pigeon Forge High School. Publix is well known as a company for being dedicated to the communities it calls home.

“Publix differentiates itself by providing excellent customer service, quality products, and competitive prices,” said Brenda Reid, Media and Community Relations Manager for Publix. “We look forward to serving Pigeon Forge and hope that we will become the supermarket of choice in the area.”
