Augmented Reality is a Reality at WonderWorks!
It’s summer vacation and the kids are begging for an adventure, but heat is just too much. Look no further, WonderWorks has opened 5 NEW EXHIBITS the kids will love! So beat the summer heat and explore all the new and exciting features, we’ll even give you a sneak peak!
- Professor Wonder’s Adventure- explore the history of WonderWorks and how the adventure came to life! This spatial augmented reality adventure will take guests on a 3D experience that transforms the area they stand in, into an “unreal” experience where they will see the history of WonderWorks.
- Dig It! Interactive Sandbox- Explorers will experience land, sea, and safari in this futuristic exhibit. Guests hold the power to manipulate sand to produce unique environments reflected electronically over top of their sandy creations. Using light projections, each hand motion and sand movement will produce unique environments for guests to explore.
- Google Moon & Google Mars- WonderWorks’ astrology and space zone offers many ways to explore the planets. Using Google’s new 3D software,guests can get up close and personal studying the Moon and Mars.
- Draw Alive- Design creatures and watch them come alive in their own giant wall sized environment. Create unique and colorful creatures, place them under our scanner and watch your masterpiece come to life as they swim, fly and move throughout the world.
- Doodle It- With the recent addition of the arts added to STEM education standards, WonderWorks is proud to introduce even more artistic components to the attraction. This backlit drawing board invites artists of any level to make their mark and show off their creativity for guests to view and continuously add to.

In addition to new exhibits, WonderWorks list of special events continues to grow. To provide a fun learning environment for everyone, Wonderworks recently added Sensory Nights, where exhibits are altered to provide limited stimulation to adults and children with special needs.
