NEW Soaky Mountain Waterpark Coming To Sevierville!

Wilderness Resorts and Waterparks ownership announced that they will be building a new attraction in the Smoky Mountain region called Soaky Mountain Waterpark. The new massive 50-acre outdoor waterpark will be located across the street from the Sevierville Convention Center and Wilderness at the Smokies Resort. The addition will include family friendly pools, slides, and more for the property! This new expansion will be the first of it’s kind in the Sevierville area. Get ready for more thrills and adventures at Wilderness at the Smokies!

According to Joe Eck, COO of Wilderness Resort and Waterparks, “We are excited to be bringing another quality attraction to the popular Smoky Mountain tourist region. Soaky Mountain Waterpark is going to be an amazing destination for families with children of all ages to enjoy. It will feature some of the most popular, thrilling and unique water attractions available. It will all be outdoors in a beautiful mountain-modern park setting.”

 

Amenities 

The waterpark will feature a 35,000 square foot wave pool capable of generating waves up to 6 feet high! Also, a winding wave river spanning an area of 24,000 square feet with an exciting kids’ play-and-spray with multiple slides will be featured! Kids can enjoy an activity pool with small slides and also an adventure pool with a water obstacle course. Test your skills on the double FlowRider like a surfer! Experience a four slide complex that will provide thrills all day long! There are so many new options that the kids will love.

Operations

Eck anticipates that Soaky Mountain Waterpark will be open to the public mid-May through August. There will also be additional days through mid-September available. Pricing for waterpark admission is yet to be determined, but Wilderness at the Smokies guests will likely receive preferred pricing on admission.
