Brian Hoffman's Remembering Red - A Tribute to Red Skelton is an ALL ages family friendly clean comedy show full of quick wit and skits Red was famous for. Red Skelton, born the son of a former circus clown and a cleaning woman, who lived in Vincennes Indiana. At the age of 10, he left home to travel with a medicine show through the Midwest, and joined the vaudeville circuit at age of 15. He was the star of "The Red Skelton Show" on NBC Radio from 1941 to 1949 and CBS Radio from 1949 to 1953. He stared in his own television show, which aired from 1951 to 1971. Brian Hoffman meticulously performs many of Red Skelton's more famous characters. Re-live great memories from the 50's, 60's and early 70's while you watch Brian act out narrated pantomimes and short one man skits and deliver the funny one-liners in the same fashion as the master Skelton. Laugh with Clem Kadiddlehopper, that dim-witted country bumpkin. Giggle along with Gertrude and Heathcliffe, the two seagulls. Feel the love of Freddy the Freeloader, the hobo who lived in the city dump. Add a little “Guzzlers Gin” a couple of pantomimes and the Pledge of Allegiance making this a true tribute to Red Skelton, one of America’s favorite clowns. The thought provoking finale presentation will give you a warm and fuzzy feeling making you wonder whether you should laugh or cry. "A MUST SEE" for baby boomers and their family.
