The infamous Rod Run is back in Pigeon Forge this fall. Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for the event:
What is it?
A 3-day event for any car enthusiast; you can expect to see hundreds of show cars in Pigeon Forge during the Fall Rod Run 2021. Spectators walk around admiring the beauty, while car owners have the chance to win a $8,000 cash giveaway, a Top 25 Award, or one of the Ultimate 5 Awards and King of the Hill. Food and merchandise vendors will also be scattered throughout the event center.
When is it?
September 16, 2021 – September 18, 2021. Thursday and Friday, the show is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday it is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the awards presentation following.
Where is it?
The Fall Rod Run 2021 will take place at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge.
How much is it?
Spectator tickets are $15. A 3-day pass can be bought on the first day (Thursday) for $35. No tickets are sold in advance.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at the LeConte Center in their two lots – the one attached to the building or the one across the street. Shuttles will be available. Parking is completely free.
Where should I stay?
There are tons of options for lodging in Pigeon Forge, but if you want to stay close to the show – even walking distance from the show – there are a few hotels nearby that would work perfectly. Tru by Hilton Pigeon Forge and Home2 Suites by Hilton Pigeon Forge are located just down the road from the Leconte Center, directly across from the parking lot entrance.
