Adventure Park and Five Oaks Riding Stables

Adventure Park and Five Oaks Stables not only has zip lines and a ropes course – it is also home to horseback riding stables. Ride across 70 acres of land on trails made for the whole family. Ride through the mountains on the back of a strong horse while checking out the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. The stables can house 60 or more horses! Parents are welcome to saddle up the little ones and double ride. Rides are open to riders 3 to 93.

The Five Oaks Stables has the option of two trails for riders to bring out their inner cowboy. The first trail is four miles long and lasts approximately half an hour. The other trail, the most popular ride, is six miles long and lasts approximately one hour. See an authentic moonshine still, ride through mountain streams, learn about Appalachian mountain history and take in the views!

Bluff Mountain Adventures

Take a guided ATV tour across 6,000 acres of Smoky Mountain trails with Bluff Mountain Adventures! With one, one and half and two hour tours, there is so much to see and explore on the single rider or side by side ATVS. Get dirty as you explore the hidden streams and incredible photo opportunities available.

Bluff Mountain Adventures has four different ride types:
The Family Introductory Ride is a one hour adventure through creeks and streams on Bluff Mountain. This ride is great for all levels of riders and provides exciting photo opportunities of the Smoky Mountains.

The Mountain Trail Adventure is a one and a half hour adventure to the top of Bluff Mountain. Riders take in 2,300 foot spectacular views from the top. Have your camera ready! Breath-taking photo shots are on this ride.

The Custom Trail Ride is two hours long and is a scenic ride of various types of terrain. The ride is specialized to your group’s riding ability and preferences.

The Ridge Run is a one and a half hour ride over very challenging terrain. Riders must be experienced to take on this ride and challenge their ATV skills.

Mtn Trax

Want to check out Pigeon Forge or Cades Cove with a different point of view? Check out Mtn Trax of Townsend for a street legal utility task vehicle (UTV) ride. Cruise through Cades Cove and look at the beauty and majesty that is the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Ride through Townsend or Gatlinburg in one of Mtn Trax’s UTVs or new scooters. Rent your very own UTV and zip about!

Mtn Trax offers street legal Kawasaki UTVs (also known as side by sides). These UTVs are for street use only and can travel on roads with a speed limit of 40 mph or lower. Mtn Trax offers two seaters, four seaters and 6 seaters in the UTVs. Mtn Trax also offers Honda Ruckus Scooters for single passenger use. Drivers must have previous experience riding either scooters or motorcycles. See the Smokies in your own UTV or scooter!

Waldens Creek Stables

Waldens Creek Stables has horseback rides for all. Ride through the hills and valleys on the back of a powerful horse while you take in all of the beauty of that which is the Greater Pigeon Forge Area! Experience grand views, deep hollows and clear waters on over 500 acres of mountains and valleys surrounding the stable.

Waldens Creek Stables has four unique trail riding experiences for those looking for a great family adventure! Each trail is at least 8 feet wide and allows for riders of all experience levels.

The Valley Hill Trail is an hour long ride and is great for all ages and abilities, including first time riders. The Valley Hill Trail goes over wooden bridges, through valleys, past an original homestead and also lets riders splash through Waldens Creek. Doubling is allowed and there are weight restrictions.

The Valley Mountain Trail is approximately one and one half hours long. This trail gives riders a great view of the mountains and is great for beginners. Riders will pass the original homestead, go for a splash through Waldens Creek, ride over the wooden bridges and go halfway up Waldens Mountain. Double riding isn’t permitted and there is a weight restriction.

The Mountain View Trail is a two hour ride for those ages 10 and up and for adults that have ridden a few times and feel comfortable riding. Ride through the valleys, splash through Waldens Creek, pass the farmstead, see wildlife, ride up the mountain and take in the views! Once your group has reached the top, take some pictures of the beautiful mountains. There are weight restrictions and double riding is not allowed.

The Mountain Adventure Trail takes three hours and is great for those looking to have the real cowboy adventure. Riders will cross through valleys and streams, ride to the top of the mountain, see wildlife such as deer, turkeys and bears, and pass by the barn and homestead. No doubling and there are weight restrictions.

Waldens Creek Stables is also home to other outdoor activities such as the Wild West Supper Show, wagon rides, wedding packages, fishing, picnics and more!
