The Smoky Mountains have been overrun, and there’s only one way to escape! This fall, Rocky Top Mountain Coaster transforms into an immersive military evacuation experience with Zombie Invasion, billed as the world’s longest haunted coaster experience.
Guests will step into an active military base as the infected close in. Encounter live actors, zombies, military-themed environments, emergency broadcasts, fog, special effects and unexpected scares before boarding the mountain coaster for an adrenaline-filled ride through the darkness.

Zombie Invasion is a separately ticketed event. Regular Rocky Top Mountain Coaster ride wristbands, rain checks, re-rides, third-party tickets, coupons and Smoky Mountain Park Hopper Passes are not valid for admission.
Know Before You Go
Zombie Invasion includes live actors, simulated weapon props, strobing lights, fog, loud sounds, darkness, sudden scares and other special effects. The mountain coaster itself features curves, dips and sudden stops.
All standard Rocky Top Mountain Coaster rider requirements and safety rules remain in effect. Admission is subject to availability, weather and operational considerations.
For the darkest experience, plan to ride at least 30 minutes after sunset.
