Winterfest Kick-Off: Tree Lighting & Free Concert
Celebrate the start of the holiday season on Saturday, November 21, during The Island’s Winterfest Kick-Off!
Santa will be at The Island beginning at 5:00 p.m. for photos and holiday visits. At 7:00 p.m., enjoy a free holiday concert before gathering for the big moment—the countdown to the lighting of The Island’s spectacular 40-foot walk-through Christmas tree at 8:00 p.m.
Holiday Lights & Nightly Shows
The Island’s multi-million-dollar Show Fountain Courtyard comes alive with holiday magic each evening. Take in millions of sparkling lights, more than a mile of garland, the impressive walk-through Christmas tree, and the Island Show Fountain.
Holiday light and fountain shows take place nightly at:
- 6:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m.
- 8:00 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m.
The choreographed 40-foot LED Christmas trees and festive displays create a dazzling holiday experience that’s perfect for families, couples, and visitors of all ages.
Santa Visits & Photos
Make a special holiday memory with a visit to Santa Claus at The Island! Santa will be available on select days near The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, giving families the opportunity to share their Christmas wishes and capture festive photos.
