Wilderness Wildlife Week returns to Pigeon Forge January 5–8, 2026, offering a four-day celebration of the natural beauty, wildlife, and rich history of the Great Smoky Mountains. This beloved annual event features a full schedule of free educational programs designed for all ages and interest levels.

Guests can enjoy expert-led workshops, guided hikes, creative demonstrations, and family-friendly experiences throughout the week. Highlights include scenic Pink Jeep tours with light off-road adventures, Smokies-focused fly fishing demonstrations, stargazing sessions led by a professional astronomer, hands-on activities like jewelry making and oil painting, and guided hikes ranging from easy nature walks to more challenging trails.

Most programs take place at the LeConte Center at Pigeon Forge, with select guided outdoor activities hosted throughout the area. While advanced registration is required for some guided sessions, Wilderness Wildlife Week is free and open to the public. It is a perfect winter experience for both visitors and locals.
