Get ready to welcome 2024 in style at Gatlinburg’s annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop & Fireworks Show! Join us late on December 31st at traffic light #8, where the base of the Space Needle will light up with excitement!
As the clock strikes midnight on January 1st, 2024, watch in awe as the ball drops and fireworks burst from the rooftop of the 400-foot Space Needle, all set to a special music choreography. With rhythmic LED lights adding to the spectacle, it’s sure to be an unforgettable display!
The party kicks off at 10 p.m. with live music at the base of the Space Needle on Historic Nature Trail/Airport Rd. By 10:30 p.m., Airport Road will be closed for the festivities, followed by a portion of the parkway at 11 p.m.
Since 1987, this free, family-friendly celebration has been a highlight of New Year’s Eve, drawing nearly 50,000 people to Parkway and Historic Nature Trail. With free concerts leading up to the countdown and fireworks, it’s the perfect way to end the year with a bang!
