Create a meaningful keepsake in this hands-on clay workshop designed for youth ages 7+ and adults. Participants will learn slab handbuilding techniques and underglaze surface design while creating a heart-shaped clay sculpture.
Each piece will be decorated to reflect the artist’s personal style and, once fired, will function as a picture holder. This is perfect for displaying at home, on a desk, or giving as a heartfelt gift. All pieces will be kiln-fired by Arrowmont staff, and participants will be notified when their finished work is ready for pickup.
This class is supported by the Fleur Bresler Scholarship Endowment, allowing for reduced costs for youth participants.
Youth Registration & Safety Information
For the safety of all participants, parents or guardians must complete the registration using the adult’s contact information as the primary contact. An additional approved adult may be listed for drop-off and pick-up. Children must be signed in and out by an approved adult.
Youth ages 16–18 who are driving themselves should be listed as the alternate drop-off/pick-up contact. Participants under 16 may not check themselves out.
