Start your day with one of the most breathtaking views in the Smokies during the Best Sunrise in the Smokies at Gatlinburg SkyPark. Guests with sunrise tickets will enjoy exclusive early access to the SkyLift before dawn, arriving at the top of Crockett Mountain just in time to watch the sun rise over the Great Smoky Mountains and the city of Gatlinburg below.
As the morning unfolds, enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring breakfast burritos, hashbrowns, danishes, coffee, tea, apple juice, and orange juice. Each guest will also receive a commemorative souvenir mug to remember the experience.
Your sunrise ticket includes access to all of Gatlinburg SkyPark’s signature attractions, including the SkyBridge, SkyTrail, SkyDeck, SkyCenter, Tulip Tower, and unlimited rides on the SkyLift throughout the day. After watching the sunrise, you’re welcome to leave and return as often as you’d like during regular operating hours.

The SkyLift begins loading approximately 45 minutes before sunrise.
- October 3: Sunrise at 7:31 AM
- October 10: Sunrise at 7:36 AM
- October 17: Sunrise at 7:42 AM
- October 24: Sunrise at 7:48 AM
- October 31: Sunrise at 6:55 AM
Please note that attendance is limited, and advance online ticket purchase is required. Tickets typically become available approximately one month before the first sunrise event.
Weather Policy: Sunrise events are weather-dependent. If severe weather prevents the event from taking place, guests should contact Gatlinburg SkyPark directly regarding their reservation. All ticket sales are final.
