Dollywood’s Splash Country

Summer Fun at Dollywood’s Splash Country

When summer settles in around the Smokies, it gets hot. And when it gets hot, visitors naturally seek out places to cool down namely water parks. If you’re looking for a world-class water park, Pigeon Forge is the place to be. That’s where you’ll find Dollywood’s Splash Country, which has been the regions go-to destination for water-themed fun since 2001.

Throughout the park are dozens of slides, pools and wet-and-wild attractions, all designed to help keep guests cool in the summer months. Activities range from short, tame slides for younger tots to long, steep and twisty slides that are guaranteed to add thrills to those chills. You’ll also see family raft fides, a wave pool and areas that simply squirt and dump water to keep guests hosed down on a summer day.

In addition to the water attractions, Dollywood’s Splash Country features several eateries, a gift shop and plenty of places to just stretch out and either soak up some rays or stay cool in the shade.

One of the things that keep guests coming back to this Pigeon Forge water park every year is the addition of new slides and attractions. Next year, look out for RiverRush Tennessees first and only water coaster which will take passengers on a wet and wild ride four stories in the air as they experience multiple drops, hairpin turns and dark tunnels.
