The Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Brandy Dominguez, IOM, Executive Director of the Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce, has graduated from the Institute for Organization Management, a professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Upon completing the program, Dominguez received the IOM Graduate Recognition, signifying the completion of 96 credit hours of course instruction in nonprofit management. Nearly 1,000 association, chamber and nonprofit professionals attend the Institute program each year.

“Institute graduates are recognized across the country as leaders in their industries and organizations,” said Karyn MacRae, IOM, CAE, CMP, the U.S. Chamber’s senior director of Institute for Organization Management. “These individuals have the knowledge, skills, and dedication necessary to achieve professional and organizational success in the dynamic association and chamber industries.”

Since its establishment in 1921, the Institute for Organization Management has educated tens of thousands of association, chamber and nonprofit leaders. The program equips professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to build stronger organizations, better serve their members and become effective advocates for the business community.

The Institute curriculum consists of four weeklong sessions held at university locations throughout the country. Participants complete required courses and electives covering leadership, advocacy, marketing, finance and membership. The program also provides opportunities to connect and learn alongside chamber and association professionals from across the country.

Dominguez’s completion of the Institute program reflects the Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce’s continued commitment to strong leadership, professional growth and providing valuable support to the local business community.
