Begin your exploration of woodturning in this hands-on, skill-building workshop designed for both beginners and those looking to strengthen their foundation. Participants will learn essential techniques including wood preparation, tool selection and sharpening, safe lathe operation, and project planning.
Safety is a key focus, ensuring students feel confident and comfortable using both new and familiar tools. Along the way, you’ll practice your skills through fun and functional projects such as spinning tops, honey dippers, whistles, rolling pins, and bowls. This is perfect for building technique while creating finished pieces to take home.
Class Schedule
This workshop meets over three consecutive weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30–8:30 PM.
