Observation Tower in The Vista Gardens
Anakeesta’s new observation tower will become the tallest point in downtown Gatlinburg. Sitting on the summit of the mountain, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This iconic tower on top of Anakeesta mountain will offer 360-degree panoramic views right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg.
Smokehouse Brewery
Anakeesta’s new Smokehouse and Brewery restaurant will seat close to 300 guests! who can delight in Southern BBQ favorites. You can enjoy sitting in a glass-enclosed, climate-controlled indoor area or a spacious outdoor patio. This new restaurant will serve the best BBQ as well as southern favorites. Guests can also find local craft beers at an inside bar and a walk-up window. Additionally, walk-up windows nearby at the Smokehouse will offer frozen yogurt and pizza. This new restaurant will provide amazing views of sunsets no matter what season we’re in!

Water Play Area
A new family-friendly water feature is coming to Anakeesta! Specially designed to resemble a Tennessee mountain creek with a waterfall for kids. Guests can also listen to live music from a NEW stage, relax by two NEW fire pits, and unwind at a Vista Garden’s NEW coffee and snack shop!
Tree House Challenge Course
Anakeesta is also adding a new play area for families to enjoy! This new concept will feature treehouses connected by a net challenge course and areas to swing and relax. Guests can also experience a new boardwalk to extend the botanical walkway. This will guide visitors to the Vista Gardens, tree house course, and observation tower!
