Join us as Pigeon Forge kicks off the holiday season with the Winterfest Kickoff Celebration at Patriot Park! The afternoon begins with a special veterans tribute and concludes in dazzling fashion as over six million lights shine across the city and is followed by a patriotic fireworks display lighting up the night sky.

The Veterans Military Honor Guard of Pigeon Forge will present the colors, leading into a free tribute concert at 6:15 p.m. featuring the 101st Airborne (Air Assault) U.S. Army Band from Fort Campbell, Kentucky. This high-energy ensemble is known nationwide for its horn-driven funk and dance music.
A Quilts of Valor ceremony will honor three Sevier County veterans:
🇺🇸 Randal Underwood (Vietnam)
🇺🇸 Floyd Smith (Vietnam)
🇺🇸 James Hood (Korean Conflict)
Each will receive a handmade quilt crafted by the Smoky Mountain Patriotic Quilters of Sevier County, part of the national Quilts of Valor Foundation honoring veterans with comfort and gratitude.
🎆 The evening concludes with a patriotic fireworks finale you won’t want to miss!
