Our goal is for all performers, teachers and family members to have an enjoyable experience in the world of talent competition. We want all who participate to leave Rising Star feeling fulfilled and rewarded for a job well done. Our staff is professional, friendly, courteous and is known to treat you well. Our History Rising Star Talent Productions became a reality in the summer of 1985. As the parents of young competitors, five people came together to produce a talent competition that would treat teachers, contestants and parents in a way that would instill pride and confidence in young minds. In the fall of 1986, the first competition was held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The current directors, Gail Jordan and Sharon Jordan have been with the company since its inception. Rising Star Talent Productions prides itself on the manner in which all aspects of the company are handled. It is the personal attention to each individual that creates the “family” concept. Rising Star staff members are assigned to areas in which they become the expert of that area as well as being able to assist any participant that needs help.
