DESCRIPTION:Strengthen your artistic foundation and develop your observational skills in Exploring the Figure: Observational Drawing and Painting\, a six-day workshop designed for artists of all experience levels. \nThrough focused study and hands-on practice\, participants will explore the fundamentals of drawing and painting while learning to translate space\, form\, and volume onto a two-dimensional surface. The workshop emphasizes naturalistic observation and encourages students to develop their own artistic voice throughout the creative process. \nStudents will work with three primary subjects—the human figure\, still life\, and outdoor landscapes—gaining experience across a variety of settings and compositions. Figure studies will include both extended poses for in-depth exploration and shorter gesture exercises designed to build confidence and improve technique.
